The Broadband Product and Services Specialist will be responsible for driving broadband product and services strategy and supporting the development and promotion of marketing and management programs. This role will plan, execute and measure marketing programs in partnership with the Broadband Services Department and other United Cooperative Services teams. Candidates for this position are enthusiastic self-starters capable of focusing on strengthening the business development and marketing needs to ensure the broadband services offerings meet the cooperative’s member expectations.
Reviewing product and service launch processes, identifying gaps, improvements and overall increasing speed to launch new products and services
Ensuring launch and ramp up of all products and services, building insights on what constitutes a successful marketing campaign
Assess legacy/as-is systems and conduct member market research to understand successes and failures and measure the evolution of our programs
Lead and manage event planning for a variety of events throughout United’s service territory, including assessment of event return-on-investment
Prepare marketing collateral, including brochures, leave behinds, and other marketing materials
Support business development and market research, competitor analysis, and subscriber intelligence efforts
Record information in member relationship management platform
Support broadband services marketing in day-to-day efforts
Acts as an orchestrator and advisor, providing support and thought leadership within the Broadband Services team and other areas of the cooperative.
Provides leadership and support to other areas of the cooperative’s community and public relations, including managing United’s scholarship program and sponsoring events, attending civic club meetings, etc.
Adhere to and encourage current safety policies and procedures and be actively involved in continuously assessing safety policies to ensure their content and/or effectiveness are consistently the top priority at the cooperative.

Job Knowledge, Training and Experience: A bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Marketing or a related field.Prefer 3 years of experience in marketing, or a combination of bachelor’s degree and experience and ability to work with 3rd-party marketing vendors.
Equipment Operated: Must be able to operate personal computers and related software. Must be able to use office equipment. Must have a current Texas driver’s license without violations that would prohibit insurability.
Abilities and Skills: Exceptional written and oral communications skills. Strong interpersonal skills and experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams. Past experience in digital marketing or digital product management experience, strong intuition for good member experience and messaging
Physical Effort: Must be able to perform all activities listed in the job description with or without reasonable accommodation.
Working Conditions: Requires working indoors and outdoors with some irregular hours. Some travel is required inside and outside the cooperative service area.
