Full-time position, 5-day work week (Saturdays optional).
Competitive base salary of $40,000 & performance-based bonuses to achieve $60,000 OTE with no cap on commission.

What You'll Do
Inside Performance Consultants work with an assigned location to consult and sell performance projects to enthusiasts and “performance curious” customers all from our HQ office in Wilmington, NC. You will team up with an Outside Performance Consultant to provide the best customer experience possible. You will process inbound leads across all sources; phone calls, emails, webform submissions, social media messenger applications, to qualify and direct them to the appropriate Performance Consultant.
Manage inbound leads across a variety of sources – phone calls, website form submissions, emails, messenger apps, and social media submission – following established processes to ensure all leads are communicated with efficiently and effectively.
Quotation of Tuning, Exhaust, Suspension, Intake, and supporting National Speed Packages.
Schedule on-site appointments for the Outside Performance Consultant when necessary for large scope of work jobs.
Deliver outstanding consultation services to our customers to properly assess their needs.
Use our proprietary ERP system (SpeedPoint) to create highly detailed quotes in line with customer goals.
Use Salesforce CRM to help you effectively manage your sales pipeline & professional commitments.
Build relationships and make yourself a trusted advisor – you're a gearhead helping gearheads have more fun with their cars (it doesn’t get much better than that!)
Ensure that every customer has proper expectations set for the quoted work.
Achieve necessary activity & performance targets (all of which are very clearly defined).
Work closely with your Sales Manager dedicated to improving your skills and helping you grow as a salesperson.
Exceed individual & team goals while educating customers and learning from peers and mentors.
Gauge and improve development with frequent one-on-one feedback sessions with your Sales Manager.
Sales Process & Systems Overview
Inbound lead generation – your customers WANT to talk with you.
Clearly defined & high-performing sales funnel.
Generally short sales cycle (many new projects move forward within <72hrs), sole decision-maker (<2% of cases with multiple decision-makers), with an average deal size of ~$2,500.
Digital marketing campaigns aim to deliver the necessary number of qualified leads per week for you to achieve your goals.
Clearly defined workflow processes & tools, pipeline KPIs, and performance targets.
Easy self-reporting for highly visible individual performance, and bonus payout position for the two-week period.
Our proprietary ERP system (SpeedPoint) helps make otherwise complex & time-consuming quotes easier to create, while also arming you with the information needed to effectively deliver to the customer – enabling you to properly set expectations on the cost of the project, result of the work, and time we’ll need the car.
Salesforce integration with your VoIP phone system and email so that much of your communication activity is automatically logged to the respective Lead or Opportunity record.

Required Skills & Experience
Quota-carrying sales experience in which you consistently achieved goals.
Highly evident passion for modified street cars.
Specialized expertise in at least one vehicle platform (e.g., Ford Mustang, Subaru WRX, etc.), with a proven ability to quickly learn and adopt new vehicles, niche brands, and modifications.
Understanding of key vehicle systems (engine, drivetrain, suspension, braking, fuel, etc.), and purpose of modifying each for increased performance.
Understanding of basic engine management principles, and the benefit of custom calibration.
Exceptional written & verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to use basic office software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.
