Merchandising Specialist, Search & Browse (Store on Xbox / Store on Windows / Gaming Services)

As part of the Digital Stores organization, the Client & Category Merchandising team is the single, authoritative voice to the customer and it’s our mission to earn fans for Microsoft Stores on Xbox and Windows.
To help us fulfill this mission, we are looking for a customer-obsessed, and analytical Merchandising Specialist to create innovative and engaging customer experiences across games, apps, movies and more. You will get first-hand experience in driving best in class customer experiences through analysis, innovation, and end-to-end optimization. You will have the opportunity to partner with other teams to transform your learnings into the next generation of ecommerce features and tools.

Optimizing Search & Browse experiences across the Microsoft Stores on Xbox, Windows and Mircosoft.com through frequent A/B testing and data analysis, and documenting the results
Sharing best practices to be evangelized with external developers, publishers, and studios
Analyzing data to identify customer scenarios to utilize when merchandising content
Partnering with adjacent marketing teams to craft and execute campaigns to support product launches, sales and other relevant moments and events
Updating performance scorecards that monitor channels and campaigns and track and benchmark traffic, engagement, and conversion metrics to enable continuous improvement of merchandising efforts
Contributing to the development and testing of new customer-facing product features
Identifying opportunities for efficiency and automation and working cross-functionally on implementation
2 years of relevant marketing experience in roles requiring process improvements, creative problem solving, cross-functional collaboration and/or other related areas
Ability to analyze data quantitatively using research or metrics to back up assumptions, identify opportunities, and assess the efficacy of merchandising programs
High attention to detail and project management skills, ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Highly Preferred Experience and Skills:
Functional expertise in e-commerce
Team and collaboration mindset and approach as proven by experience in business, sports, or community involvement
Secondary education and/or relevant experience
Clear and confident communication skills, and the ability to influence
High level of agility and ability to deal with ambiguity
Passion for entertainment/gaming is a positive
