The Vice President of Digital Sales & Growth leads and develops an organization responsible for growing bookings across multiple segments and lines of business at Smartsheet. You will lead an experimentation-based practice where qualitative customer insights, A/B testing data, and evolving our needs are synthesized and balanced. You are comfortable with bringing your Marketing expertise to bear in a Sales (Field Ops) organization, and will be formally accountable to financial targets.
You will report to the Senior Vice President of Commercial Sales and Demand Generation, and could be located at our headquarters in Bellevue, WA, or in a remote location in the United States.
Manage a team with expertise in digital marketing, analytics, Product Led Growth and A/B testing
Prioritize programs and experiments
Lead innovative thinking on how best to serve and activate Smartsheet customers in multiple lifecycle segments
Influence across the organization (e.g. Demand Generation, Marketing Automation, Website, UX Research, Business Intelligence, Product Marketing,Engineering) to get support on new experiments and campaigns
Track team goals and communicate hypotheses, test result data, and program achievements to an Executive level audience
10+ years experience in performance marketing field(s) like growth marketing, Product Led Growth, conversion optimization, A/B testing, email marketing, marketing automation, or demand generation
3+ years marketing digital products (e.g. software, SaaS)
5+ years analyzing digital marketing data in tools like Excel, Tableau, and Google Analytics
Business acumen necessary to understand the very broad Smartsheet customer base and business model to prioritize opportunities accordingly
Agility to adapt to a rapidly changing business and company, and the perseverance to see the appropriate projects through to completion
A “bias for action” to conduct daily business with a sense of urgency to achieve ambitious goals. Need to take appropriate action without waiting for extensive direction or feedback, and then be accountable for decisions
