Supporting both the Digital and Marketing functions of the Office of Global Marketing and Communications (OGMC), the Project Coordinator/Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality execution and management of web development and marketing projects. He or she manages timelines, goals and progress for a large portfolio of web development and marketing projects; maintains proactive and responsive communication with clients; coordinates and integrates the efforts of multiple team members. The Project Coordinator validates that project scope can be completed within timeline and budget and provides alternatives and recommendations to more effectively and efficiently meet goals and objectives. This position also steps in to execute as needed, including migrating content for internal and external-facing University websites.

Manage the project planning lifecycle for digital team, including project intake, scope, budgets, timelines, resources, communications and comprehensive digital project plans.
Use project management tools for digital project plans, timelines and budgets.
Create project documentation and presentations, including recording meeting minutes, key decisions, and client communication.
Serve as a point person for client relationships by establishing and maintaining communication with stakeholders across the university and providing client support.
Assist with digital content project work, including managing and migrating copy, working with images, and formatting web copy.
Help implement strategic cross-departmental recommendations for digital, analytics, and social media plans.
Build internal relationships to help streamline department's ability to achieve assigned goals.
Assist in compiling, organizing and assessing campaign response metrics, post-performance insights, and developing KPIs.
Support keyword analysis for digital properties to optimize content performance.
Review digital trends to recommend future plans to help OGMC meet its goals.
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-4 years’ experience in project coordination.
Experience in digital marketing and/or web development a plus.
Minimum Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities.)
Mastery level use of PowerPoint.
Mastery level use of all main social media channels.
Experience using project management software such as SmartSheet.
Proven organizational skills in leading projects and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working knowledge of website development (macro-level understanding).
Speaking, writing and presentation skills ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others.
Ability to summarize key insights for different audiences.
Ability to work well in a team and independently.
Preferred Competencies: (Skills, knowledge, and abilities)
Experience with Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator.
Working knowledge of video creation and editing.
