The SVS PSO’s Marketing Manager is responsible for managing multiple projects in support of the SVS PSO Marketing, Communications and Website Activities. The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning logistics, communication and promotions of all major PSO/VQI activities, including the semi-annual Regional Meetings slide decks, VQI@VAM, VEITH, webinars, VQINews, Annual Report, Year in Review, Members Guide.
What You’ll Own (Responsibilities)
Analyze and develop methods to enhance communications for our VQI community.
Manage and maintain VQI Websites inclusive of overseeing the relationship with the external hosting vendor.
Take lead with the preparation of the PowerPoint presentations for the semi-annual regional meetings.
Leads the development of the VQI Annual Report(s), Year in Review and Members Guide.
Manages and promotes the VQI Member’s-Only Website (inclusive of educating end-users).
Take lead with the production of the VQI Newsletter.
Develop promotional materials for the VAM and educational webinars.
Creating Marketing social media presence for VQI.
Work with external marketing vendor on tradeshow promotions, logistics and other promotional communications.
Develop and disseminate branding and communication standards for the VQI and PSO.
Production and dissemination of the star awards to sites.
What You’ll Bring to the Job (Requirements)
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and Communications, from an accredited university required.
5 Years’ of demonstrated success and/or track record in project management in the verticals of healthcare quality improvement, meeting logistics and marketing communications.
Must be able to plan and execute upon multiple concurrent projects.
Ability to interact with physicians and other health care professionals in a professional manner.
Strong communication and relationship building skills.
A knowledge of clinical registry databases is highly preferred.
A self-starter with the ability to be flexible and take on new demands and challenges.
Willingness to travel to the Annual Vascular Meeting (VAM).
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and able to prioritize efforts to use limited resources efficiently
Demonstrated skills to apply effective oral, electronic, and written communication methods with colleagues and volunteers
Ability to work effectively with all multi-disciplinary team members, both internal and external
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint Excel, Adobe suite, Word press required; ability to learn new technology as required

Physical Requirements & Environment
Typical office setting with routine sitting and occasional standing. Routine use of basic office equipment and computer. Frequent travel in support of Regional meetings is required. Routine evening and/or weekend work maybe required based on business needs.
