The Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School aims to build a more just, peaceful world through human rights research, teaching, and collaboration. The Center has a diverse set of audiences for its communications, including faculty, current and prospective donors, fellows, students, policy makers, international organizations, human rights organizations, and the media. More information on the Center's mission, programs, and priorities can be found on its website at carrcenter.hks.harvard.edu Reporting to the Center's Executive Director and in collaboration with the Center's Digital and Multi-Media Specialist, and drawing upon resources of the school's Office of Communications and Public Affairs, the Communications Manager will increase the visibility of the Carr Center and maximize the impact of the Center's research, initiatives and convening activities among internal and external stakeholders, including donors, policy makers, policy-influencing constituencies and the media. Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to): This position is a fully benefits-eligible term appointment ending one year from date of hire, with very strong possibility of renewal. We regret that the Harvard Kennedy School does not provide Visa Sponsorship. Please note: During the current period of Covid-19 related restrictions, this position may start as a remote position, with transition to onsite in Cambridge, Massachusetts when the office reopens. Salary Grade: 057 Union: 00 - Non Union, Exempt or Temporary

Bachelor's Degree required along with at least three years communications or related experience.
