LES Education Coordinator Requirements - Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, professional integrity and credibility and experience managing programs.
- 5 years of experience driving event registration and sales to meet revenue targets via social media marketing, cold calling and other business development strategies
- Technology savvy with online conference platforms (e.g., Zoom, GTM and GTW) and social media marketing including LinkedIn, Google SEO, video editing, etc.
- Committed to providing excellent customer experience to course attendees, sponsors, members, volunteers and vendors
- A quick learner who gets up to speed quickly; highly motivated and productive while working remotely with limited supervision
- Detailed oriented; able to organize, manage and finalize course materials and other content provided by member volunteers for Education and other Committees
LES Education Coordinator Objectives Manage LES Education Program - Develop turn-key processes for managing the LES education program to run on-line and in-person courses and drive sales revenue via registrations
- Work with vendors on course scheduling, website course descriptions/updates, digital marketing, logistics and execution of courses
- Responsible for attendee and instructor communication, timely correspondence, course material distribution & overall course experience as measured by surveys
- Plan, recruit and support course chairs and volunteer instructors, including keeping current the list of qualified instructors for each course along with their current bios/headshots
- Keep the repository of LES Education materials up to date and organized
Drive Education Revenue - Drive course sales that exceed targets via social media and direct sales marketing
- Develop new business with target organizations for custom courses with corporate and/or executive management programs; work to support LES Members on a plan to secure 1-3 custom courses per year
- Identify and develop partnering deals and/or alternative LES non-member marketing /sales channels to drive education sales
- Maintain reports on courses delivered, including attendee numbers, revenue/expenses, and FAQs on courses.
Program Management - Develop turn-key operations running LES Education program, including timelines for communication with instructors and attendees, for digital marketing campaigns and conversion analytics, for post-course surveys etc.
- Develop and implement a process for soliciting and vetting future LES course offerings via member volunteers.
Ensuring Superior Customer Experience - Support course chairs and instructors in developing and delivering course offerings
- Establish and maintain all necessary requirements and procedures to enable LES to offer Continuing Legal Education (CLE) and for attendees to obtain CLE for all appropriate LES programs.
- Ensure stellar course attendee experience, including follow ups to course information requests, advising attendees of other courses of interests, and preparing FAQs
- Develop and implement processes to measure Education attendee experience, e.g., develop surveys, obtain survey results, and collect attendee quotes after each course for marketing purposes
Assisting Other LES Committees and/or Sub-Committees - Support other Committees and/or Sub-Committees while maintaining priority support to LES Education
- Work for other Committees and/or Sub-Committees might include coordinating and processing Standards Sub-Committee meetings and documentation as well as helping the Meetings Committees with the Annual Meeting, and supporting Sector and Chapter Webinars.
Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience (preferred) working with associations and managing education programs, including marketing and sales, and delivering excellent customer service
- Effective self-motivator who works well remotely with teams
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Superior project management capabilities
- Comfort interacting with various levels of organizational hierarchy, internally and externally
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the industry is a plus
