Essential Functions: POSITION SUMMARY: A Career Consultant will provide both individual and group career advising to undergraduate and graduate students as well as alumni supporting them through all stages of the career development process. The successful candidate will coach and advise students who are interested in their specific professional area(s) of expertise as well as provide general advising to those exploring and considering other industries/fields. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Type/Schedule: This position is part-time and works approximately 10-15 hours per week during the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. during the academic year (August through May). Actual hours and days are scheduled based on the needs of our students and the availability of each of our Career Consultants. Attendance at monthly team meetings as well as orientation/training is required. Salary Range: The hiring range for this position is typically $24.66 - $32.06 per hour and is largely determined by a candidate's experience.
