Nova Polymers, Inc. Is currently looking to fill the Director of Sales & Marketing for North America's open position.

Nova Polymers, an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, is a privately held, US-based market-leader in the signage industry that manufactures and distributes materials and equipment utilized in the manufacturing of ADA compliant (tactile and Braille) signage.

Our products are manufactured in OH and shipped from 3 distribution centers that encompass all three time zones.

Nova utilizes an IBM iSeries ERP for our AP, AR, and general business functions. Salesforce.com is our client-facing CRM.

In this position, the candidate would be responsible for sales & marketing leadership and our AIA approved Continuing Education program, which encompasses the administration and course delivery, both in-person and virtually. This position would also have a very strong influence related to marketing campaigns that bring awareness to Accessibility codes and new product development & launches.

  • Develop and implement effective sales/marketing strategies in a way that increases sales, margin, and product awareness.     
  • Lead nationwide Sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Responsible for cost of sales related to lodging, rental cars, airfare.     
  • Lead nationwide Education team to achieve Architectural & Design goals that include incorporating Novacryl materials within product specifications. 
  • Deliver monthly webinars to educate on Accessibility codes utilizing the AIA Approved Provider status and protocols.    
  • Provide reporting on webinar and specification efforts and results on a monthly basis.   
  • Responsible for specification efforts and results related to opportunities from contacts, Arcat.com  
  • Effective Public Speaker

  • Prefer knowledge of ADA/Accessible signage
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with customer accounts in a way that builds trust and respect.           
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements 
  • Prepare annual sales forecasts  
  • Be forward-thinking with new product launches, industry trends, market activities, competitors and ensure sales team members are aligned    
  • Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards 
  • Meet or exceed annual equipment sales budget.     
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.     
  • Full utilization of our CRM (salesforce.com) solution related to calendaring, logging calls, scheduling meetings, task follow up, sales campaigns, etc.     
  • Full utilization of ERP to review sales.                 
  • Agenda driven meeting planning with identified deliverables.

  • The employee will be expected to have a thorough understanding of Nova materials, equipment, and workflow solutions that will assist in the effort to increase sales within the designated territory through the development of product education and awareness to Sign Fabricators, Design Professionals, Product Specifiers, Advertising Agencies, Construction Management Companies, Brand Owners and Architects. The employee is expected to travel based on need (travel demands are evolving due to COVID-19), including trade shows, etc.

Additional Salary Information: Base salary plus uncapped commission.
