This recruitment will be used to fill one part-time (approximately 30 hours per week) Office Specialist 2 position. This Office Specialist 2 (OS2) position is based at the Oregon State University Extension Service Office in Klamath County, which is located in Klamath Falls, Oregon. The OSU Extension Service engages the people of Oregon with research-based knowledge and education that strengthen communities and economies, sustain natural resources, and promote healthy families and individuals.
Purpose of this Position As a team member, this OS2 will be responsible to provide digital marketing and general office support for the OSU Extension Klamath County office as assigned. The Office Specialist 2 must be knowledgeable about all facets of the OSU Extension Klamath County Office and is expected to organize and prioritize a demanding and complex workload, monitor progress, and adapt to changing needs. In addition, this OS2 should have general knowledge of database management, web-based software programs, web maintenance software, and be proficient with computer software such as or similar to Microsoft Office Suite.

Two years of general clerical experience. One year of which included typing, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR An Associate’s degree in Office Occupations or Office Technology; OR Graduation from a private school of business with a Certificate in Office Occupations or Office Technology and one year of general clerical experience. College courses in Office Occupations or Office Technology will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
