The Campus Marketing and Communications Coordinator will serve as the campus marketing and communications liaison and have responsibility for all campus marketing, communications, public relations, social media, events, and more. The Campus Marketing and Communications Coordinator will have a dual reporting structure to the Director, Communications and the campus president. The Campus Marketing and Communications Coordinator will identify and develop news and feature stories, write for collateral, presentations, and speeches, lead photography and video efforts, and coordinate with the district to market and communicate campus events.
Increase positive campus awareness while adhering to STLCC's one college philosophy
Provide marketing, communications, public relations, and social media counsel
Identify and create internal and external news and feature stories and press releases on students, faculty, staff, and events
Serve as lead to build local relationships, i.e., chamber of commerce, business associations
Serve as member of campus and district crisis communications teams
Maintain responsibility for receiving and approving requests from external organizations to distribute materials or participate in free speech activities
Manage budgets and advertising schedules
Serve as editor of campus newsletter and daily announcements
Oversee campus website and social media activities and updates
Create event and campus signage
Serve on the campus leadership team and provide marketing and communications counsel
Support events through planning, logistics, marketing, and communications
Work in collaboration with district personnel on one college initiatives
Performs other duties as assigned
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field.
7-plus years of progressive responsibility in marketing and communications.
A strong portfolio of marketing, communications, and events collateral.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe and social media platforms
Practical knowledge and experience supporting brands and visual identities.
