Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing

Winthrop University, a public comprehensive university ranked 6th by U.S. News & World Report among Southern universities and in the top 15 of public and private institutions in the region, is accepting applications for the position of Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing.

The Vice President is the key leader and influencer in determining the university's overall strategies, goals, and plans that affect student enrollment and student financial aid management.

Major Responsibilities

• Develops overall strategy and vision for the Enrollment Management and Marketing division.
• Leads, manages, and motivates division team professionals to coordinate all aspects of undergraduate student recruitment, marketing, admissions, and student financial aid.
• Partners with others across campus to develop, articulate, and implement enrollment and financial aid plans that optimize growth opportunities in alignment with the university’s vision and mission. This includes a strategy of monitoring, forecasting, and predictive modeling associated with institutional, statewide, regional, and national data and initiatives affecting student enrollment patterns relating to student quality, diversity, and retention. 
• Actively participates in marketing and recruiting students, to include personal communication with students and parents and working closely with athletic coaches and college deans to expand effective recruitment strategies for student athletes and specific academic programs.
• Responsible for divisional budget management and oversight.
• Provides direction and support of the divisional managers to include personnel management, staffing, performance management, and budget and operating and cost management.
