Assist the Marketing Manager and cross-departmental teams with the coordination of all PRI marketing related Trade Show, Membership, Magazine, Social Media and Sales projects. Manage project details to ensure that projects are implemented correctly and on schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITY
Assist Marketing Manager with:
Research marketing outreach opportunities
Meeting notes & follow-up
Department communications, both internal & external
Coordinate marketing schedules.
Work with Marketing Manager to establish and maintain marketing calendar(s).
Monitor project calendar to ensure all is progressing, approved and completed on time.
Assist with marketing research and analytics collection.
Provide weekly marketing analytics reports.
Assist with preparation of bi-weekly marketing reports.
Track key statistics and note performance milestones.
Assist with marketing project copy/content creation.
Represent PRI marketing as project contact for print and digital vendors.
Manage project logistics for print and digital promotions.
Maintain job ticket system.
Collaborate with Art Director to obtain project estimates as needed.
Coordinate project delivery and mailing details with Circulation Manager as needed.
Assist with marketing department accounting tasks.
Create and submit marketing purchase orders.
Review, code and submit invoices for manager approval.
Work with accounting team to follow up on payments and troubleshoot billing issues.
Organize and file documents for future reference.
Assist with bi-weekly Marketing team meeting scheduling, prep and follow up.
Assist with any other duties of the Department as assigned by Marketing Manager.
Other duties as assigned based on department and company needs.
Report to Marketing Manager.
Coordinate with Trade Show, Editorial, Art, Sales, Circulation, outside vendors and media regarding schedules, specifications, pricing and delivery.
Interface with all levels of PRI staff as well as PRI customers.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution.
3+ years of professional work experience required. Experience in marketing strategy, implementation, reporting & analytics, copywriting and/or social media is a plus.
Must be detail oriented and organized.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Intermediate or above proficiency in Excel and Power Point is a plus.
Basic understanding of Adobe graphics applications and file formats.
Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
Ability to problem solve and make solid decisions under pressure.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
