The Manager of Digital Shelf & Operations, eCommerce, will lead the eCommerce Digital Shelf and Operations efforts for the company and manage a team of two direct reports.
This individual drives business process related to all aspects of: item setup, maintenance, & measurement and product content / digital shelf management across CBIâs 3-Tier eCommerce accounts, marketplaces and content recipients. This individual will own building our Digital Shelf roadmap, optimizing our eCommerce tech stack, and managing key vendor relationships. Additionally, this person will collaborate cross-functionally with our brand and digital marketing teams, sales, business insights, finance, supply chain/logistics, master data management and IT partners to develop and lead CBIâs digital strategies while delivering eCommerce revenue goals for an industry leading company.Â Reports to the Director of eCommerce Marketing.Â
Digital Shelf & Operations
Own Constellationâs eCommerce product catalog that is shared to retailer/accounts, marketplaces and other content recipient partners. Responsible for catalog accuracy and completeness.
Leverage best-in-class tools to measure and evaluate the impact & effectiveness of our digital shelf management to ensure content accurately and to discover new avenues for content optimization.
Serve as the primary business owner of technology vendor partners supporting Digital Shelf including optimizing those relationships (negotiating contracts, setting up regular business reviews) and identifying new vendor opportunities as business needs emerge.
Own Constellation PIM (Product Information Management) system.Â
Identify and drive Digital Shelf process improvements with appropriate internal and external stakeholders, trains relevant teams as need. Drive productivity by maximizing efficiencies of scale across digital shelf activations.
Drive thought leadership and define the landscape for beverage alcohol digital catalog shelf management.
Partner with eCommerce Sales team to ensure Constellation assortment is accurately represented and managed on account eCommerce sites (âdigital shelf managementâ) in areas of keywords, onsite search optimization, product images and taxonomy.Â
Manage and contribute to various cross-functional projects that focus on driving service and sales performance.
Contribute to the shaping and implementation of our eCommerce strategy through collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
Manage, mentor and grow Digital Shelf and Operations team.
Performs additional responsibilities and duties as assigned by management.
6 years previous experience in eCommerce with a strong track record working in the ecommerce/digital space.
Strong project management skills including generating roadmaps and holding teams accountable for progress. Â
Excellent analytical and communication skills including reporting on insights and other data points identified, and creation of technical presentations.
Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to gather feedback to identify and solution for customer and market needs and challenges.
Demonstrated diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments (internal and external stakeholders).
Computer literacy with the ability to learn and use various software including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Comfort on video conference calls.
Ability to travel a minimum of 15%
Strong background in and understanding of technology and eCommerce. Comfort vetting and onboarding technology vendors.
eCommerce/Digital Digital Shelf or eCommerce/Digital Shelf Management experience preferably working with Syndigo, Salsify, Profitero, Edge, etc.
eCommerce/Digital Commerce experience at or interfacing with key accounts such as Amazon, Albertsonâs, Kroger, Instacart and Walmart.
Ability to combine creative problem solving, consumer insights, and strategic thinking in a fluid environment.
Demonstrated experience managing quantitative information and iterative testing to drive business decisions.
Blending strong intrinsic capabilities with creative, external perspectives, the successful candidate will champion new initiatives that demonstrate breakthrough thinking.
Ability to work well across the organization and with 3rd parties.
