The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking an Associate Marketing Manager who enjoys a fast-paced and demanding array of duties to support the association’s marketing efforts. The marketing manager works under the VP of Marketing to support and collaborate on key NAIA marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include contributing to development and implementation and tracking of marketing campaigns; executing social (paid and organic), email and PR initiatives.
Support all marketing initiatives related to NAIA branding, EC campaigns and NAIA products and services
Coordinator for all NAIA social media – paid and organic
Implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns on NAIA social channels
Assist with measuring and reporting performance of all digital marketing campaigns including- social, digital and web.
Manage projects with print vendor to ensure all printing projects stay on time and follow up to completion and delivery.
Implementation of marketing initiatives across a full range of media.
Creation and implementation of social media across Sprout (social platform)
Creation of written, digital and graphic content (articles, press releases, scripts, email campaigns, presentations, event programs) for a variety of digital and print media.
Assist with marketing department research including surveys, interviews and Google Analytics.
Managing membership and target audience lists through ongoing data acquisition and database management.
Supporting the marketing team with the marketing, communications, coordination and execution of advertising campaigns, association events including a national convention, membership meetings and fundraising events.
Contributes to the development and implementation of marketing campaigns. Supports the marketing team to coordinate and implement daily activities leading to completion of marketing projects and tasks.
Coordinates and updates website edits for a variety of departments.
Assists in ordering promotional materials as needed.
Performs or assists with special projects as needed. Coordinates reporting associated with key projects on an as needed basis.
Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business.
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or marketing;
2 to 3 years' experience in marketing, communications and social media
Demonstrated writing, editing and research skills;
Experience using Photoshop, Constant Contact and Social Media Platform;
Comfortable with creating content for print, social, video and emails;
Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Indesign and Photoshop)
Written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple tasks and projects
Organizational and time management skills, including punctuality for on-time attendance
Ability to work effectively independently with general direction or as part of a team
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA), headquartered in Kansas City, Mo., is a governing body of small athletics programs that are dedicated to character-driven intercollegiate athletics.
