Chemeketa Community College welcomes applications for a Full-time Coordinator – Agricultural Workforce Development
This position operates under the direction of the Dean of the Agricultural Sciences & Technology Department and coordinates aspects of Agricultural Workforce Development, AgriBusiness Management (ABM) and related grants. The coordinator of the Agricultural Workforce Development program will support delivery of the services and collaborate with industry professionals, faculty, and staff to ensure that courses are staffed, resources are used efficiently, enrollments are reviewed, and activities of the department are facilitated each term. Must be able to work with individuals and small business owners from a variety of ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Chemeketa Community College is the third largest post-secondary institution in Oregon, with approximately 29,000 students enrolled from a diversity of backgrounds. Chemeketa has seven locations, Salem campus, Yamhill Valley campus, Brooks Regional Training facility, Woodburn center, Polk center, Center for Business & Industry and Viticulture at Eola. Salary: $4,648.00 - $7,394.00 Monthly
The successful candidate will have:
Bachelor degree from an accredited institution in Agriculture, Communications or related field
Experience developing marketing communications campaigns and/or workforce development programs/workshops or related education
Client Focused and Solutions Oriented
Confident Presenter and networking ability
Experience in Marketing, Digital Marketing/Badging and Social Media
Creativity and writing skills
Organized and strong attention to details
Ability to work in a changing environment
Computer skills that include proficiency in MS Office suite and experience working with spreadsheets
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a diverse population of individuals and small businesses in the mid-valley region
Sound understanding of the community college learning environment and a commitment to the comprehensive community college mission
Master’s degree from an accredited institution
Experience providing culturally relevant training and advising to aspiring entrepreneurs, students and businesses
