This position is remote through early September. Effective Monday, September 13th, this position is considered remote, up to 1 day in the office at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA each week. DFCI guidelines state that employees must reside in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Rhode Island.
The Officer will be the primary manager of a portfolio of partnerships including Burger King: A Chance for Kids and Families, Cape Cod Potato Chips, The Paper Store, and the Holiday Program.?? The Officer will assist the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Corporate Partnerships and Senior Assistant Director, Corporate Partnerships in attaining short and long-term goals including developing at least one new cause-marketing partnership per year and creating and maintaining a pipeline of 50-75 corporations. Responsible for assisting the entire Division with reaching financial goals.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Achieve goals of generating more than $1 million from assigned programs;
Conduct a minimum of 50 donor visits;
Coordinate all activity regarding day-to-day management of assigned partnerships;
Strategize for growth and collaborate in recruitment of 1 new retail partner;
Assist AVP and Senior Assistant Director, Corporate Partnerships, in creating programs to enhance both the corporate partner and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute???s & The Jimmy Fund???s image in the community; Steward relationships with Sr. VP, Executive Officers, Corporate VP, Marketing Directors, Franchisees, and District Managers to further Dana-Farber Cancer Institute???s & The Jimmy Fund???s relationships with them and to solidify and grow the program;
Work with Jimmy Fund/DFCI???s Philanthropy Communications, Digital Marketing, and Fiscal & Regulatory Management departments on all program related materials and activities;
Work with corporate volunteers and DFCI Trustees to develop new business initiatives and relationships for the Division and assist in reaching goals;
Work with STEP manager to ensure proper state and federal compliance procedures;
Responsible for assisting the entire department with reaching financial goals.
Reports to the Senior Assistant Director, Corporate Partnerships.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor???s degree required with 3-5 years of corporate fundraising or sponsorship experience required. Experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or consumer sales helpful.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong orientation to donor relations; well-organized and able to prioritize tasks; ability to manage a multitude of projects. Self-starter with ability to work independently as well as a team member. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products. Must exercise significant judgment and confidentiality in working with prospects, volunteers, and Institute staff.
This position will evaluate current programs and create and execute approved plans to expand and diversify the donors and participants for the events assigned in order to broaden our donor base and create even more inclusive events. Experience with diverse donors is a plus.
Remote flexibility (up to 1 day in the office each week).?? Some travel, evening and weekend work may be required.
