We need an enthusiastic and highly-organized Digital Media buyer to join our Rockwell Automation family. This person will work closely with our team of commercial program managers (aka product and industry marketing gurus) and be responsible for curating, managing, and reporting on success of targeted digital media campaigns, with the goal of maximizing return on advertising spend, or ROAS (we love a good acronym). The ideal candidate will have knowledge in media buying and native advertising, as well as a keen ability to indirectly influence.

Develop, launch, and optimize campaigns across social, native, and display platforms
Report and communicate results to management on a weekly, monthly, and as needed basis
A/B test images, headlines, and targeting techniques
Identify the media best suited for a specific demo, geographic area and campaign goals
Provide recommendations by considering timing and sourcing metrics and stakeholder budgets
Build relationships with media vendors and stay up to date with industry trends
Coordinate with the creative team on digital creative needs
Use a critical eye to tweak digital campaigns and ensure we hit desired KPI's
Analyze the effectiveness of campaigns and use this data to learn and improve
Monitor and stay up to date on key industry trends, competitive insights and emerging or changing social media platforms
Identify and share best practices with content contributors and regional social media community managers
EOE, M/F/Disable, Vet
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or equivalent.
5 years of digital media or digital marketing experience.

Experience working on outcome driven/response driven campaigns
Ability to negotiate all aspects of digital buys (including out clauses, SOV, frequency caps, viewability, etc.)
Strong understanding of the digital landscape with a fluent understanding and comfort level with ad tech lingo
Complete understanding of online media metrics to negotiate the best deal structure
Expertise in local market and national buying across all digital media channels
Strong collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills
Excellent written, verbal, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed, ever-changing environment
Working knowledge of data analytics and media mix modeling a plus
Knowledge of direct response media a plus
Challenge the status quo, always finding new ways to create the most impact for business units
