In this crucial role, you will be creating and delivering insights by being the go-to person for Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager operations. This is a new position where you will help provide data-based decisions from the insights you find in the various channels and help implement any new actions that are required.
This Position Will:
Create and maintain standards in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
Create custom behavior insights at different phases of the customers shopping journey
Develop strategies to track all marketing efforts in Google Analytics
Create accurate reports that will be provided to Leadership Team to help make marketing decisions
Create, configure, and manage all existing and new GTM containers and implement all tags, triggers and variables to capture the most relevant website data
Drive insights from: active users, audiences, bounce rate, session duration, transactions, revenue, conversion, and all other e-commerce insights
Work with the website development team to ensure proper placement of any new GTM containers
Design, optimize and create our tagging architecture within Google Analytics 360 and Google Tag Manager
Ability to identify data quality issues and work to resolve data quality issues
Research and Answer all questions when there are unexpected changes in traffic, revenue, etc. from the different sources
Create and manage all automated reports that are sent daily using Google Sheets and Supermetrics. Experience with Google BigQuery and Data Studio a plus
Evaluate and recommend data tracking technology that to help support business initiatives
Track changes in the digital marketing industry that will affect 3rd party tagging and web analytics
2-3 years of hands-on experience in Google Analytics 360 and Google Tag Manager
Google Analytics Certification preferred
2-3 years working with digital marketing teams to drive valuable insights regarding marketing campaign performance
Experience creating and using dashboards in Google Analytics
Understanding of business requests and turning them into actionable results through data analytics
Experience in HTML/CSS or other web development languages is a plus
Be a team player with a driven personality not afraid to share new thoughts or ideas
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation.
Strong attention to detail and well-organized.
Must be able to relocate to Columbus, Ohio.
