The primary purpose of the full time Coordinator of Public Relations is to support the mission and brand of the college by using graphic design skills and techniques to create marketing and advertising which clearly and effectively reaches various target audiences.

Write, produce, and provide graphic design for internal and external marketing campaigns, special events, and recruitment, applying brand guidelines throughout communications.
Work closely with marketing and communication director to develop, write, and refine design concepts for internal and external marketing, including digital marketing, and organic and paid social media.
Perform project planning with the marketing director to oversee and direct various projects' progression to ensure that projects are completed within the determined time frame and within the constraints of the allotted budget.
Write news releases and facilitate distribution to the media.
Coordinate social media posts, in collaboration with the marketing and communication director.
Coordinate changes to the college website, in collaboration with the marketing and communication director.
Provide photography and video recording and editing for the department/college.
Assist with college-wide event planning, organization, and marketing of events.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Bachelor's degree (marketing, graphic design, desktop publishing or related field) and two years related work experience, or equivalent.
Possess a thorough working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite and proficient with Microsoft office programs.
Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to design marketing campaigns and adhere to existing brand.
Strong interpersonal communicator, flexible, and deadline-oriented.
