The Business Development Marketing Manager will build a team and gain broad experience by working closely with management and editorial teams in a purpose-driven, entrepreneurial environment. The role is integral to the development and execution of creative, thoughtful, cross-platform partnership opportunities with the goal of increasing overall sponsorship revenue. This is a player/coach role focused on developing revenue generating ideas and activating them.
Envision creative and impactful multi-platform marketing solutions that meet and exceed client objectives across broadcast, digital, podcast, social, and event platforms in order to have a significant impact on the overall departmental and organizational budget
Interface regularly with management, sales, and editorial teams, and internal and external clients contributing to WBUR-wide strategic planning and direction
Manage client relations through program execution and balance competing workloads in order to meet increasingly short deadlines
Leverage research capabilities with sales development efforts to support the development and execution of creative partnerships
Hiring, managing, and developing the business development marketing staff
Develop and manage new marketing partnerships with third-party organizations and vendors to enhance integrated offerings
Bachelor's Degree required
Over eight years of related work experience
