As a Marketing Data Analyst, you will analyze data from multiple systems and sources to answer key operational questions. An exceptional ability to build, and operationalize BI tools, pull and analyze data, and create meaningful reports to drive informed, effective decisions is prominent to your success in this role. What You Will Do:
Partner closely with stakeholders to leverage data to drive business optimization and decision-making while effectively communicating insights and recommendations.
Develop BI tools and analyses to consistently monitor and analyze marketing, sales operations, and performance.
Create meaningful visualizations in BI tools such as Tableau to optimize reporting on data.
Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets.
Use predictive modeling to drive operational decisions in media spend allocation and staffing to optimize business outcomes.
Contribute to data architecture planning.
Clean/scrub data to ensure meaningful reporting.
Migrate existing Business Intelligence dashboards and tools to a new data warehouse stack.
Articulate key insights from data analysis.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering or other quantitative field and 3-5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Applied expertise in statistical techniques, concepts and algorithms (regression, predictive analytics modeling, statistical tests, etc.).
At least 5 years of solid experience manipulating data sets and building statistical models to draw insights from large data sets.
Ability to operate in an agile, fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and with stakeholders.
Experience in designing and working with data architectures; integrating data cleanly from multiple systems and 3rd party sources.
Tactical understanding of the intersection of data with on-the-ground business operations.
Fluent in software/tools/languages such as SQL, Python, R, etc.
Expertise in business analytics using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, and Tableau, with experience creating data visualizations and exportable dashboards.
Familiarity with ETL processes and using data warehouse processes and web services such as AWS Redshift, S3, etc.
Familiarity with sales and marketing software and automation systems or digital advertising platforms a plus (Salesforce, Pardot, Google Adwords, Google Analytics, etc).
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a positive, responsive attitude.
A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
