What you’ll be doing...
As the Verizon Business Group’s (VBG) Director of Digital and Demand Generation Analytics, you will lead the development of analytical methods to inform decision-making on marketing and demand generation investment, and optimization of key customer journeys across the enterprise.
Lead the delivery of business insights to drive growth through digital channels
Develop end-to-end digital analytics and robust reporting on learn, buy and self-serve experiences (including verizon.com/business, ecommerce and MyBiz & VEC self-service portals, among others)
Build end-to-end demand generation and lead funnel analytics connecting them closely with paid and owned media performance, and to other marketing tactics (e.g., events)
Lead the delivery of demand generation insights to sales and marketing leaders
Lead the implementation of cross channel performance insights for journeys that touch multiple channels including digital (Learn, Buy, Self-serve journeys)
Contribute to marketing-sales interlock and the development of strong SLA’s between marketing and sales on pipeline growth
Develop media performance analytics to deliver strong insights and optimization recommendations for paid media
Build digital performance optimization methods leveraging advanced tools and models
Deliver insights on market segmentation as well as audience and growth drivers
Build databases and methods to develop cohort-centric views of performance, combining media performance, digital behavior, and cohort account profiles (multi-year revenues, costs and churn), to drive maximum efficiency in media and maximum revenue / lead generation from digital channels
Partner with other teams (including the Verizon Consumer Group [VCG]) to develop a robust view of growth headroom and opportunity by segment, channel, and product
Partner with Digital peers and other Marketing teams to produce digital and demand gen performance outlook; align outlook with Finance outlook and BU forecast; update outlook periodically on an agreed schedule
Lead and provide metrics for business cases for demand, ecommerce and portals
Provide quality checks for all data produced that represent digital performance/ opportunities for demand or sales or service; partner with other VBG (and VCG) metrics teams and finance to represent all data presented on behalf of digital and marketing
Partner with appropriate teams to create digital and cross-channel metrics to represent experience KPIs, performance and opportunities
Build and manage a robust A/B testing capability, and work with digital team leaders to develop a roadmap of A/B tests to drive continuous learning
Build and lead a world class team of digital and analytics experts with a strong commercial and performance bias
Collaborate closely with Digital Marketing and Demand Gen teams to drive overall growth of VBG business across segments
What we’re looking for...
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience; MBA or Masters degree strongly desired
8+ years management experience
Rich experience and proven success in leading a business / digital analytics function in support of demand generation and ecommerce, at a large enterprise
Hands-on experience working with marketing and digital data, and combining them with sales funnel data (Salesforce and Marketo)
Deep experience with digital analytics platforms (especially Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics) and underlying ad tech and MarTech architectures
Experienced in developing ways to advance measurement of digital and cross-channel experiences
Deep experience in preparing and presenting complex data and insights in easy-to-consumer ways, including data visualizations and presentations
Experience managing multiple teams and building capabilities on a range of analytics fronts, including digital performance, media and marketing tactic performance, and account performance
Experience presenting complex digital data and insights to senior management
