The Associate Director, Web Development is responsible for managing all facets of the College’s front-end web presence (css.edu) and partnering with Information Technologies on related infrastructure and back-end development. The Associate Director, Web Development works in collaboration with the campus community to audit and improve the College’s external web presence as well as overseeing web marketing systems.
Manages the content, design, development and maintenance of the College’s web presence (css.edu) through an inclusive lens to align with college priorities and Benedictine values; establishes and ensures adherence to web content and design standards/guidelines to ensure consistency; manages current iteration of web presence and creates strategies for future developments/enhancements; coordinates activities with IT and other College departments/users; manages content to include copywriting, front-end design and development, photo editing and CMS management; coordinates efforts with vendors on web and design development, testing, analytics and data development.
Supports social media platforms from a technical perspective and collaborates with the Communications team to ensure effective social media initiatives and brand reputation.
Collaborates with the greater Marketing and Communications team to develop, implement and enforce procedures, guidelines, templates and standards.
Collaborates with vendors or internal developers on third-party systems that have a direct integration with css.edu.
Administer the College’s web marketing tools and Google web products.
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in digital marketing, communications, or related field; AND four (4) years of professional experience in website operations; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
