Responsible for successful development, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive communications and marketing plans and promotional efforts for Augusta University Health System, Children's Hospital of Georgia, assigned departments and service lines. The director is involved in creative and marketing strategy for clinical marketing. He/she accomplishes this by using consulting, communication, project management and measurement of marketing efforts to meet the needs of internal and external constituents.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, Journalism or related field and 7 years or more of experience in healthcare marketing with 3 years or more in management. Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement. Excellent oral and written communication skills; Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; Knowledge of graphic design techniques and software (e.g. In Design) required; ability to manage multiple projects under deadline; organized around achieving maximum results with minimum investment; has the ability to plan and execute multi-dimensional programs; detail oriented; responsive and customer focused. Anticipates customer needs; abilities to work effectively with a variety of professionals; innovative and strategic thinker, work well both independently and as part of a team.
