e2L is a dynamic, fast-paced educational services company known for its culture of collaboration and innovation, and we are looking for a top-notch Copywriter. We have experienced rapid growth and now serve clients across Texas and several other states, having served over 225 school districts over the last ten years and are currently serving 45+ districts in 2021. This growth has created an immediate need for an outstanding professional to join our team as a Copywriter.
The Copywriter will provide high-level support to the Executive Director of Marketing, including copywriting and clarifying the e2L brand voice.
This is a full-time, exempt position.
This is a remote position.
Standard work hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with additional hours as necessary.
Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.

A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field from an accredited university is required.
Background check and drug screening will be required.
Contribute to the development of the marketing plan and strategies related to e2L and its associated brands
Write clear and error-free marketing copy and engaging content to promote e2L and its products
Propose copy concepts in an engaging way and carry out projects once they are approved
Interpret creative direction and technical information to create persuasive copy concepts
Create blog posts, resources, and case studies about K-12 education topics
Produce engaging, clear text for different advertising channels such as websites, print ads, and social media
Maintain a unified brand voice across different media channels
Generate new ideas and ways to tell the engage2learn story and our partner district’s stories across multiple channels
Support marketing and sales efforts by creating content and campaigns to promote e2L services and products
Conduct market research and recommend effective strategies
Work with marketing and sales team to edit and modify copy to meet content needs and expectations
Monitor and maintain marketing data and reporting as needed

The successful applicant will demonstrate the following competencies:
Experience in marketing within the fields of K-12 Education and/or Ed Tech products and services preferred
Minimum 3-5 years professional copywriting experience
Exceptional writing and research skill
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
Ability to think creatively, translating ideas and visual concepts into compelling copy
Experience in marketing data analytics and tools preferred
Experience maintaining and organizing digital marketing assets and campaigns
Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and space
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines
High level of proficiency in technology tools and apps that increase productivity and efficiency
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to write and produce high-quality written communications
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work within established brand/product guidelines.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to synthesize and filter through detailed information, make appropriate decisions and know when to escalate issues
