The Senior/Marketing Project Manager oversees project pipeline, timelines, and workflow across a diverse portfolio of work and partnerships within University Advancement (UA). Reporting to the Senior Associate Director, Marketing Project Management on the Advancement Communications and Marketing team (ACM), this individual is responsible for collaborating with ACM colleagues and internal partners to ensure marketing deliverables in their portfolio are completed on-time, on-budget, and, where appropriate, map to the strategic priorities of each partner and UA. This individual will play an active role facilitating marketing and communications projects for some of the Division's key initiatives.
The ideal candidate will be relentlessly collaborative and facilitate projects with a team-based approach. They will be highly adaptable and possess a proactive solutions-oriented approach to problem solving. This individual will be expected to think two-steps ahead without losing sight of what is happening day-to-day.
Provide marketing guidance to colleagues in Communications & Marketing and partners within University Advancement in an effort to exceed fundraising and participation goals
Partner closely with the Senior Associate Director, Marketing Project Management, to facilitate project intake and initiation
Manage complex timelines, tactics, and project workflow initiatives within their partnership portfolio
Perform quality control on projects in their portfolio to maintain the highest standards
Continually assess resources and project workflow across their portfolio and adjust project plans where necessary
Possess an expert understanding of project management tools, resources, and best practices; assist in the maintenance and enforcement of best practices in project management
Aid in the facilitation of working groups, task forces, and other team-based efforts across all of University Advancement when appropriate
Title and salary commensurate with relevant experience based on the following titles and hiring ranges:
A Bachelor's Degree is required with a Master's Degree preferred.
Senior Marketing Project Manager: 5+ years marketing and project management experience
Marketing Project Manager: 3-5 years marketing and project management experience
Understanding of project management tools/software, such as Hive, Basecamp, Smartsheet, Monday.com, etc.
Proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite
Basic knowledge of marketing dashboards
Must be a team player who is highly motivated and dedicated to the goals of advancing higher education and have an appreciation for Jesuit Catholic education and the goals and values of Boston College.
