Constellation Brands is looking for a Digital, Insights and Analytics Manager to join the Digital, Media, & eCommerce team under the Growth department. We are a data-driven and consumer-obsessed organization, who is restless in pushing forward our data and analytics capabilities to improve omnichannel consumer experiences.
This role will report into the Director, Digital Insights & Analytics to support Digital, Media, Digital Technology Innovation, Â 3-tier eCommerce across Beer and Wine & Spirits divisions. Youâll focus on the analysis of consumer data and insights to deliver a holistic view of consumerâs interactions to inform innovation and optimization decisions. This person will work in a matrixed environment with cross-functional Â stakeholders at various levels , to ultimately influence digital, media & marketing Â strategies, budget allocation and measurement approaches.
We are looking for a team player who excels in project/vendor management, performs hands-on analysis/modeling, and synthesizes insights to tell a story. The ideal candidate is resourceful, self-motivated to learn, and unafraid to ask questions and Â orient the organization to think differently.
Exemplify digital analytics expertise
Educate, consult, derive, and disseminate insights for fact-based digital planning that drives brand performance tied to portfolio/brand objectives (brand equity, sales, ROI, etc.))
Instill data and analytical rigor
Ensure each project is grounded in quality data and sound methodologies for the most accurate view of the consumer of each stage in the purchase funnel
Ensure data is clean and accurate, be the first to uncover any issues with the system or errors in reporting
Translate business requests into data and analytic requirements across multiple computing environments
Be rigorous in the analysis ofÂ performance metrics and be able to point out new trends or flag potential issues that will impact the achievement of results
Drive consultancy projects from set up to actionable insights
Manage project quality and timely delivery on diverse consultancy projects such as brand equity lift measurement, marketing mix modeling, attribution modeling, and A/B testing
Identify key insights and provide strategic thinking to create cohesive stories and actionable recommendations to optimize marketing investment
Perform simulation modeling to inform budget allocation and volume forecasts
Track and consolidate KPIs over time into a single report
Own digital analyses - data integration, write efficient queries, and develop performance solutions
Once we have stood up internal 1P analytic infrastructure, the manager will sift through large data sets via query languages and BI tools (TBD) for insights to inform audience targeting, consumer lifecycle/journey, and rapid test and learns
Leverage dashboards to track and socialize performance that tie organizational objectives to digital measurement solutions
Develop standard performance analysis of our digital marketing, web and mobile properties
Provide in-depth analysis and modeling that provides insight into ongoing trends, performance against KPIs, potential issues, and new opportunities
Inform scalable data management, insights & analytics capabilities for collecting, processing, modeling, and distributing consumer interaction data collected during up-to-the-moment digital interactions to inform personalization strategies at scale.
Degree level education in a related filed (business/digital marketing/economics) or equivalent work experience either agency or supplier side
Minimum 7 years proven experience in comparable role such as strategic consulting, marketing analytics, digital media, business intelligence
Extensive experience interpreting and analyzing data from syndicated sources such as IRI or Nielsen and a variety of digital platforms for full-funnel performance
Experience working in branded consumer environments with an understanding of digital, media, eCommerce, marketing and brand management
Strong understanding of consumer engagement across mature and emerging digital touchpoints
Experience with digital tools/data sets such as:
Programming languages: R, Python
Database/Cloud platforms: SQL, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, AWS
Visualization tools: Microsoft Power BI, Google Data Studio, Tableau, Datorama
Web analytics: Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics
Online panel measurement tools: YouGov
Native social insight tools: Facebook Insights and YouTube Analytics
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with a problem-solving attitude
A high degree of analytical rigor with business acumen, to conduct analysis with imperfect information while keeping business use case top of mind
Strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate (and educate) complex data and technical methods in a simple and digestible manner
In-depth practical and theoretical knowledge of quantitative and analytical techniques
A passion for and personal interest in new technology, digital trends, social media
