What does a great Consumer Marketing Consultant do?
This is an exciting opportunity to put your strategic marketing and client consulting expertise to work helping drive adoption and use of our best-in-class card management and digital solutions products at the leading financial institutions in the country.
You will serve as a trusted advisor and strategist, contributing market intelligence and consumer marketing expertise as you consult with clients of all sizes from across the country.
You will develop and drive execution of strategies that make customers more valuable to their financial institutions, and make them avid users of mobile banking, online banking, card management solution, debit/credit cards, and other revenue producing and strategic offerings at our financial institution partners.
What does this role do?
This position resides within the Client Engagement Group with a primary emphasis on the Electronic Payments division to support our client partnerships for our ePayments products.
Fiserv offers a market leading set of payment products and services, including, but not limited to, electronic bill payment and presentment services for both businesses and consumers, person-to-person payments, account-to-account transfers, account opening and funding, and small business invoicing and payments.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration
7+ years of direct or related experience in complex marketing of consumer products, consumer financial services, consumer technology or online/mobile services.
Experience in a client-facing role with demonstrated strength in consultative client management including selling and defending ideas and results
Track record of success leading cross-functional teams and ability to develop collaborative internal and external relationships
Ability to develop marketing programs, including email campaigns, banners, interstitials, and associate engagement that encompass customer experience across multiple channels, are informed by past metrics for success and set up to be measured effectively.
Expertise in sophisticated digital marketing practices required. Experience in direct response marketing a strong plus.
Strong analytical marketing or related capabilities (e.g., not purely promotional), including focus on program results, including ability to identify of areas of opportunity for continuous improvement. Demonstrated ease, facility, and interest in working with data.
Result Orientation: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and projects with strong prioritization skills, and ability to multi-task; often managing 10+ open projects and ability planning out time between various activities to manage most pressing tasks. Executes more than one activity or task simultaneously and delivers on performance targets/expectations.
Marketing Knowledge: Basic understanding of marketing principles and best practices. And fluency with PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot Tables; Shortcut keys; Functions such as vlookup, goal seek, etc.)
Ability to make and defend marketing budgetary decisions based on results.
Strong project management skills and ability to work across multiple client engagements.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills. Excellent command of English language required (specifically, writing for digital channels)
Able to keep internal and external clients informed and up to date.
Collaborative attitude and an ability to work well with team members.
Strong independent worker that also balances the ability to collaborate well across teams and at different levels.
Experience troubleshooting - an inquisitive mindset that approaches situations looking for solutions
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience developing content and presenting webinars - and crafting accompanying webinar recruiting emails and follow-ups
Experience working with webinar platforms, specifically On24, Teams and WebEx.
Demonstrated ease, facility, and interest in working with data, including standard email engagement metrics and analytics tools (such as Litmus and Google Analytics).
