The Senior Director, Marketing, reporting to the Vice President, Biopharma, will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and integrated marketing programs targeting biopharma customers. The leader will help to bring together "best in class" customer insights, channel planning, operations, optimization and analytics to ensure initiatives drive and deliver growth plans for the company.
Owns customer insights building a robust strategy based on quantitative and qualitative insights.
Drive customer onboarding, engagement, and digital adoption execution by setting communication and business development, key account strategy and empowering clients throughout the process
Support building a value proposition narrative, brand identity and tactical execution to support in support of biopharma customers
Establish a prioritization framework and use it effectively across multiple projects and initiatives, partnering and leading cross functional teams to define marketing goals
Develops relationships with key customers/ partners to support the overall biopharma goals and objectives
Monitor industry trends and use these to shape strategic priorities
Develop and report upon tightly refined KPIs (including spend, account funding, engagement, digital adoption, etc.)
Partners closely with Finance to build annual strategic engagement plans/ marketing plans, forecasting and budget that support strategic decisions and investments against corporate goals
Develops and leads transformation efforts within the Marketing department
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Marketing or Business related
10 + years of experience in integrated marketing and sales programs with a results-driven approach to pipeline generation
Demonstrated track record working within a biopharma environment within a commercial and/or access/ reimbursement capacity
Ability to work in a matrix environment and lead cross functional teams
Demonstrated success in designing and managing targeted lead generation efforts and funnel management.
Clear understanding of metrics, ROI, targets and analysis and the ability to effect results
Full complement of marketing channel experience - both traditional and new digital models including predictive techniques
Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation and 1:1 collaboration)
Strong analytical skills applicable to target market analysis
Flexible and adaptive approach
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well across teams, customers, sales, partners, vendors
High self-motivation with a sense of urgency
