You will be accountable for Personal Banking Proposition, Primary banking and other propositions Everyday Extras, Employee Benefit Program (EBS), ensuring HSBC achieves its targets in customer growth, deepening customer relationships, maximize customer return and ensure the customer voice is at the heart of the customer propositions. This role is a full time 12 months fixed term contract role for an ambitious individual to join the team as a Head of Personal Banking Propositions at our Head Office in Barangaroo. Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall Customer level related topics and cross product holistic propositions within the customer segment. Examples are Customer Life Cycle management, product packaged offers, customer cross sell and customer loyalty.
Owns proposition goals with accountability for P&L targets, customer growth and cross sell / deep sell targets, acquisition and retention targets within the Personal Banking segment, manages above and below the line initiatives for the proposition and executes local campaigns, through working closely with Marketing and Channel teams (Branches/Digital /Call Centre), international teams, operations, ensuring all customer solutions and offers add value to the customers, are competitive in the market place and align with the Group strategy.
Responsible for commercial partnerships to access for example customer databases of (potential) partners or with special offers to grow the customer base efficiently.
Understanding of target customers and the drivers behind customer behaviors, driving client insight program and analysis on client segmentation, the competitive landscape and market trends
Deliver fair outcomes for our customers and ensure own conduct maintains the orderly and transparent operation of financial markets.
Work with key stakeholders across the business, like Products, Channels, Marketing, Finance and Risk teams, the role holder is responsible for growing and managing all Personal banking propositions across products, growing the customer base, enhancing the customer experience and deepening of client relationships through holistic banking propositions within the personal banking segment
At least 8 years' experience in Retail Banking or proposition / product management in retail services (e.g. Telco, financial services, utilities, etc).
High level of conceptual thinking, complex problem solving capabilities
Senior exposure of propositions, product management or sales distribution,
Depth of exposure and proven experience with mass affluent client segments
Solid experience of working with Marketing and Customer Insights
Truly customer centric with great attention to details that makes difference on customer experience
Proficient to translate customer needs into products and channel requirements
Experience in commercial management across products and customer segments
Broad knowledge of digital products and digital market trends, scrum methodology, social ecosystem
Results oriented with high performance standard
Excellent relationship building and with strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Excellent presentation and pitching skills
People Management and strong ability to navigate conflicting strategic priorities and decisions
