What you’ll be doing...
The Product Marketing Manager for Verizon's 5G Edge will join an experienced and energetic organization that is responsible for helping to drive the development and adoption of Verizon's mobile edge computing (MEC) services. In this role, you will generate grass-roots attention and support for Verizon's 5G Edge among key industry opinion makers, decision makers, and technologists. You will serve as a key subject matter expert bridging the value proposition of mobile edge computing to customer and developer communities while also developing and designing broader marketing programs to not only reach these communities but also attract them in ways that drive meaningful engagements with Verizon.
Growing Verizon's developer community following across social channels.
Developing and delivering 5G Edge blogs, tutorials, and reference architectures to help drive awareness and adoption of Verizon's 5G Edge services.
Supporting the creation of product demos and guides to drive awareness and adoption of Verizon's 5G Edge services.
Identifying leads for potential partnerships and co-development opportunities.
Collaborating with internal teams to help define product roadmap, market positioning, community user groups, and developer program initiatives.
What we’re looking for...
You’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Two or more years of experience in product marketing, product management, or system architecture roles.
Two or more years of experience with cloud computing infrastructure or application development platforms.
Willingness to travel.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Two or more years of experience working in a technology promoter, developer relations, or solutions architect role.
Ability to work cooperatively with, and gain the respect of, software developers.
Active social media profiles (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) and experience with other social channels (e.g. Reddit, Telegram).
Ability to be a highly energetic, highly motivated, and a critical thinker.
Capability to be a problem solver, detail oriented, and execution focused.
