What you’ll be doing...
We’re looking for a motivated self-starter to join our in-house Digital Center of Excellence (DCoE) to lead a newly created DCoE Operations team. Establishing and facilitating cohesive work streams with necessary stakeholders, and providing budget/financial reporting to optimize media spend.
Supporting the DCoE team’s Budget Operations end to end by directly managing vendor invoicing and billing to ensure payments are conducted in a timely manner.
Supporting month end reconciliations for the Search, Programmatic and Social Media budget to monitor spend against various initiatives to ensure the team is targeting monthly, quarterly, and yearly investment goals.
Forming relationships and processes between Verizon Media Strategy, DCoE buying team, VM1 and Verizon FP&A team to ensure cohesive work amongst teams.
Managing internal and external Operations systems: Adcomm, 1 ERP, ARIBA, and eventually CIF(FP&A dashboard that is currently under construction), and others as needed.
Contributing to development of RFP’s, negotiating and reporting for any necessary vendors.
Supporting all internal and external audits in regards to DCoE.
What we’re looking for...
You'll need to have:
This hybrid role will have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days as set by the manager.
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite.
Prior work experience inspiring others in work group to achieve team goals including experience with expertise knowledge transfer.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience with Media, Invoicing and/or financial tools at medium to large organizations.
Strong project management skills demonstrated by a history of on-time and on-budget launches; deadline oriented.
Experience with Digital Media billing and processing at a top tier Advertiser, Agency or Publisher.
Experience in Finance, Accounts Payable, or a related function at a Fortune 100 company.
Six or more years of relevant work experience.
Ability to thrive in a highly evolving, fast-paced environment.
Ability to manage through ambiguity and balance multiple dynamic priorities.
Strong stakeholder communication and collaboration skills, building credible and trusting partnerships.
Ability to balance day to day tactical issues and complex technical projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills - deliver clear presentations and POVs.
