The College of Public Health is seeking a collaborative Production/Marketing Coordinator to focus on the needs for high-profile marketing and communication projects.
The Production/Marketing Coordinator will play dynamic role on the Marketing and Communications (Marcom) team and be charged with managing pivotal projects, digital marketing, and social media along with content writing (and design as needed) that further promotes the college's value proposition and programs, success stories, and mission through print, website, electronic, newsletters, and other marketing and communication channels.
The Production/Marketing Coordinator, in collaboration with the Marketing and Communications Director, will support the overall strategic vision of the Marcom team which is to be the official partner in sharing and shaping the successes of the college. The Production/Marketing Coordinator will support the Marketing and Communication Director in developing new marketing and communications strategies that will impact and add value to the college's strategic plan.
Given the COVID-19 pandemic, and the need to protect our university community including our students, staff, faculty and visitors, the University of Kentucky is requiring COVID-19 vaccination for all new hires prior to starting employment. Therefore, as of October 18, 2021, all new hires prior to their first day of employment must submit appropriate documentation showing, i) completion of the first vaccination against COVID-19, or ii) completion of the full vaccination series against COVID-19, or iii) approved exemption (medical contraindications or a sincerely held religious belief) through the formal exemption process from the COVID-19 vaccination requirement. Strong writing and editing skills; MS Office, social media platforms and software such as Hootsuite; and prefer some knowledge of Drupal, Adobe Creative Suite and HTML.

Bachelor's or Master's (Master's preferred) in communications, journalism, English, or liberal arts field with strong writing component plus four or more years related experience preferred.
