The NC Dental Society Foundation, the NC Dental Society’s charitable entity, and NC Services for Dentistry, the NC Dental Society’s for-profit entity, seeks a part-time assistant (25 hours/week) to help with marketing and administrative needs for both organizations. This individual may work remotely, but some time in the office may required for certain tasks.
As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as assisting in the creation of marketing materials such as emails/eblasts, newsletters and digital media campaigns, and providing administrative support as needed.
To be chosen for this role, you should have a bachelor's degree or demonstrated equivalent in marketing, business, or a related field. Prior work experience in administration or marketing is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail is required for to succeed in this role.
Research and Analysis
Research and analyze information to inform and drive engagement, solicitation, and proposal development strategies.
Research prospective business needs of members to ensure we are planning for growth in areas that impact dentistry in NC.
Maintain accurate customer/donor relationship management (CRM) (DRM) data design data queries and convert database information into workable data, dashboards, and reports.
Marketing and Communications Support
Assist in developing communication and marketing materials around member and donor needs.
Grow both organization’s marketing presence through the use of digital marketing, email, print, events.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, business, or related field.
1-2 years of experience using CRM/DRM software systems preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Experience in digital media (creative, analysis, reporting and creation a plus).
