How you make a difference: Our Digital Content Producer will capture our Promise in action by creating engaging stories that connect with our various audiences. You’ll lead the planning and execution of innovative and strategic visual content produced for public education, awareness and marketing. Your work will range from producing and directing video/photo shoots for our system’s various initiatives, to the creation of video marketing and storytelling pieces that can be published across our external websites and media platforms. To be successful in this role, you should be skillful at balancing both the initiative to identify and pitch new stories, while supporting assigned projects that support our health care system. You’ll be a positive collaborator with teams from all of Cook Children’s companies and departments. The Digital Content Producer is strong a brand ambassador and is able to create heartfelt stories that honor patients, staff, donors and the community that supports Cook Children’s. Helping production companies, producers and photographers feel connected to our stories in order to capture amazing video and photography for use on multiple platforms is crucial. To guide and develop content, you’ll use analytics to measure performance and adapt content to increase engagement. You‘ll also be asked to change hats quickly to go from script-writing/editing, to video production, assisting with some photography and podcast recording. The Digital Content Producer understands the link between digital marketing, websites, social media, and the various video platforms, to publish riveting content that draws in our audiences. Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Marketing, Radio/TV, Communications or related field.
3-5 years’ experience in video production, writing and overseeing production crews and photographers.
Excellent copy writing and editing skills.
Strong knowledge of video editing equipment and software.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Work with a positive attitude and a drive to both learn and teach.
Highly organized with great attention to detail.
Able to multitask and archive digital assets for use across teams.
Must maintain excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and above average computer literacy.
Ability to work independently with focus and attention to detail.
