A vital member of the Office of Enrollment Managements Marketing & Communications team, the Assistant Director, Engagement Marketing works to advance the goals of the office, the Division of Enrollment Management and Institutional Research, and the University through the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communications campaigns, strategy, and methodology. The Assistant Director is responsible for managing email and print communications to prospective and admitted students throughout the prospective student lifecycle. The incumbent is a multidisciplinary communications professional, advancing efforts in print, digital, and events marketing. The incumbent will be a skilled communicator and project manager, with excellent communications process management skills, attention to detail, a creative approach, and an interest in advancing change.
Required Education: Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education: Master's Degree
Required Experience: 2+ years of experience in a marketing or communications context. Consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of educational attainment and work experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Knowledge of and appreciation for data-driven marketing methodology. Acute attention to accuracy and detail. Ability to multitask and advance multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously. Strong ability to navigate relationships across a multitude of departments and units spanning organizational and divisional lines. Passion for advancing higher education in a global context. Ability to assimilate and synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and consistent messaging. Excellent writing ability and creative design skills in Adobe Create Suite.
