With general direction, formulate and execute a cohesive and ongoing optimization strategy for the ecommerce website experience, in collaboration with teams representing, site experience, category management, brand management, and creative design.
Responsible for planning and executing strategies to best present the characteristics and features of the site's product and service offerings while driving consumer engagement and maximizing sales conversion
Partner in strategic planning with ecommerce business leads (category, product, platform, UX), digital marketing/brand management, analytics, market research, and creative resources to form strategic plans that translate business goals, consumer/category insights, and creative ideas into a calendar of engaging and effective online experiences.
Support site content tactical planning and marketing campaigns with data-driven insights and SEO recommendations
Implement an effective strategy and plan for optimizing the shopper journey to maximize sales and customer satisfaction
Manage, maintain, and conduct QA on the storefront daily
Support digital marketing plans including enhancement of brand image and key initiatives
Align and execute site experience improvements and optimizations in concert with ongoing traffic-driving activities such as email, SEM/SEO, social media and other digital marketing channels
Execute website changes to support initiatives partnering with outside agencies and other internal teams
Collaborate with customer service and other operational teams as well as digital marketing/brand management to ensure the site's content and experience are aligned with operations and marketing communications
Continually gauge usability and content effectiveness by collaborating with site experience, category management, analytics, and research teams to create and share website reports, evaluate site satisfaction and sales performance, form and make recommendations for site optimization and implement go-forward tactics
Partner with team to develop and execute rigorous testing of website customer journeys and new ideas that assist in customer understanding of product and service offerings that improve the user experience, by optimizing satisfaction, conversion, and average order value
Work with IT to ensure any technical issues or production needs are addressed in timely fashion
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in an ecommerce capacity, with a proven track record of conversion/sales success
Experience with B2C retail and fashion/accessories is a plus
Proven ability to succeed in both collaborative and independent work environments
Strong understanding of branding and the customer experience
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Detail oriented, highly organized, proactive, able to work independently while also contributing to team effort
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Strong in MS Office
Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing job duties
