Generate a high volume of expert, on-brand content; ensure content is relevant to the audience based on their actions and mindset.
Build a story repository with input and inspiration from clients, teammates and others.
Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of our brand voice and implement it into various channels/tactics – website, email, video, direct mail, digital ads, social posts and publications.
Ensure content is smart and functional – optimized with key terms and presented in a compelling format that drives engagement.
Assist Client Services and New Media team members to build campaigns and content calendars that drive people to action – enroll, donate, attend, click. Help build communities of followers and influencers who elevate and promote the CSB/SJU brand.
Work independently and collaboratively with writers, graphic designers and web designers. Think strategically to develop ideas, refine concepts and ensure creative vision is achieved and client expectations are met.
Assist with social media management, including crafting posts for social platforms and supporting growth of audience and engagement.
Maintain expertise and voice to guide teammates and leaders.
Help organize, maintain and oversee creative standards and guidelines.
Offer insight on creative briefs and schedules.
Understand and follow best practices and trends in content creation, copywriting, digital marketing and branding.
In this job you'll do things like:
Draft creative content and messaging that can be woven throughout multiple vehicles as part of a comprehensive and cohesive campaign. Revise content to specific platforms and vehicles as needed.
Build and manage content calendars, capturing key moments, seasons and evergreen content; remain nimble and ready to move quickly on content opportunities as they present themselves.
Contribute to reports and dashboards that show content performance and results.
