We are seeking a User ExperienceDesigner to join our rapidly growing team.
As our User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for designing pixel-perfect, user-focused creative solutions for a variety of use cases: including responsive web sites/landing pages, digital ads, mobile apps, HTML emails, and more. We are looking for someone who is passionate about designing digital experiences that delight users and ensuring our platforms are optimized for usability, responsiveness, accessibility, and exceptional visual design. The ideal candidate has experience developing information architecture for websites, and expertly translates business objectives into engaging, functional, and simple designs and interfaces. The User Experience Designer may also support the Marketing team in other areas such as logo/identity development, and general graphic design. The ideal candidate is a designer, not a developer, with a strong portfolio of UX work and design/typography.
Develops visual design mockups, prototypes, use cases, wireframes, and user flows to reach most effective design solution. Displays empathy and design thinking Â in their approach, evaluating all designs based on user experience.
Establishes look and feel for visual interfaces, including websites, mobile devices, apps, kiosks, games, etc.
Strategizes, designs and produces digital assets (HTML emails, display ads, mobile) leveraging a strong foundation in design principles, usability, composition, and typography
Documents and promotes awareness of user experience standards, and advocates to improve UX design processes
Collaborates with copywriters and marketing team to create highly engaging, responsive email and digital marketing campaigns.
Works with developers and IT teams to handoff digital designs and ensure concepts are fully realized.
Designs logos, identity, icons, illustrations, charts, posters, infographics, and other artwork as needed.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience: 5 years
Minimum Field of Expertise:
Art direction and production of periodicals and publications
Demonstrated ability in editorial design
Knowledge of desktop publishing systems and related specialized equipment
No set schedule. May have to work weekends, evenings, and/or holidays.
