The Associate Director of Digital and Direct Marketing creates and executes specific donor strategies supporting donor acquisition and retention for Vanderbilt University Medical Center including Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center and Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. This position will be responsible for leading fundraising projects for departments across the medical center and will manage VUMC's honorary and memorial giving program.
Under the direction of the Director of Digital and Direct Marketing, the Associate Director of Digital and Direct Marketing will:
Serve as the main point of contact for VUMC's tribute giving program and manage the program's online giving components.
Provide support and backup for the Director of Digital and Direct Marketing to execute a comprehensive annual plan to acquire, retain and upgrade donors. Assist with content development and data analysis on both digital and direct mail campaigns.
Manage projects in partnership with major gift officers and departments across the medical center. Create timelines and communicate across teams to ensure projects are completed and align with DDM calendar and guidelines.
Provide email marketing production support.
Act as a member of a cross functional team of development and marketing professionals to ensure effective and appropriate integration of content, communications deliverables, and donor outreach
Participate actively in digital and direct marketing strategic planning.
Collaboration with colleagues to create and execute an annual operating plan with personal responsibility for a set of tactics and goals.
