The Department of Business Administration & Management at the University of Redlands seeks Adjunct Faculty in a both lower-division and upper-division courses across a variety of subjects. Marketing courses are an area of particular need. Classes are taught in-person across a thirteen- to fourteen-week semester, usually in two 75-minute lecture periods per week, although opportunities exist for intensive 3-4 week-long May Term classes. The department is deeply committed to a multi-disciplinary approach to business and professional education and seeks new part-time faculty to join us in this endeavor.

- Principles of Management and Organizational Behavior (BUS 310)
- Consumer Behavior (BUS 342)
- Marketing Communications (BUS 343)
- Brand Management (BUS 344)
- Digital Marketing Strategy (BUS 345)
- Financial Management (BUS 353)
- Marketing Research and Analytics (BUS 355)
- Business Policy and Strategy (BUS 459)
Applicants should have a strong grasp of effective teaching strategies, experience mentoring or teaching traditional college-age students, as well as experience working with a diverse population of students. Applicants without traditional teaching experience should offer evidence of potential for excellence in university teaching. The department's student community includes many first-generation and Hispanic students, and successful candidates will have experience teaching or mentoring students from those communities.
Founded in 1907, the University of Redlands is a liberal arts and professional institution in a town of 70,000 located 60 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. The campus is surrounded by orange groves and sits at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains, one hour from the coast and 45 minutes from Palm Springs.
Minimum Qualifications: - An earned master's degree or doctorate in a field relevant to the subject matter of the course.
- Experience working with a diverse range of learners
- A strong grasp of academic content standards and evidence of effective teaching strategies.
Desired Qualifications: - Previous four-year collegiate teaching experience
- Evidence of exemplary teaching at the university level.
- Professional experience in fields appropriate to the courses offered
- Available for day-time teaching
