Office of Institutional Advancement, Undergraduate and Graduate Marketing
Responsibilities:
The UMBC Marketing team within the Office of Institutional Advancement seeks a General Associate for Marketing Content who can join our team as contractual employee (25-40 hours/week).
This role will be responsible for generating marketing content for our graduate, undergraduate, international, and research clients. Both long-form and short-form copy will be assigned as this role provides copy for things like email marketing campaigns, landing pages, digital and print ads, and organic social media, and more.
We expect that the person filling this role will become deeply acquainted with our brand and style guidelines at an institutional level, but also be able and willing to learn about how our various clients express that brand for their particular audiences.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Experience in copywriting and editing
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in email marketing and website platforms to assist with updating or publishing copy in real time. This is a minor component of the work, but may be necessary on tight-turnaround projects.
