Overview:
Merkle Digital Project Managers, Production on our Experience and Commerce team will oversee projects to include manage scope, budget, risk, timeline, and expectations throughout the campaign development and management process. They provide day to day management, monitoring, and control of program activities and provide program leadership across the organization, from strategic decision making down to project planning. Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary day-to-day client liaison and advisor throughout the campaign lifecycle.
- Manage the production of campaign assets such as website landing pages, display ads, video assets, email marketing, SEO and paid media campaigns.
- Manage and prioritize the influx of work requests for the team in order to improve delivery and efficiencies
- Support the team implementing integrated digital marketing campaigns
- Collaborate on creative campaign ideas and concepts
- Work with content creators, designers, and digital media buyers to execute campaigns
- Collaborate closely with team members and communicate results
- Support and manage the efforts of creating campaigns across all performance marketing channels
- Establish and maintain scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign management
- Support and manage the efforts of those who analyze marketing and sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization to meet revenue targets
- Manages business within assigned accounts in a way that assures high client satisfaction and achieves clients' desired program results.
- Documents client requirements for each project and manages the overall execution of multiple client specific programs.
- Serves as an expert on their client's best practices and brands and translates knowledge of the client into effective business and marketing tactics and execution.
- Monitors project progress against the proposed plans including budgets, timelines, quality criteria and risk management
- Represents the client's needs appropriately to internal team members and acts as the focal point for the client.
- Provides guidance and leadership to cross-functional Delivery teams (Creative, Paid Media, SEO, Content/site Merchandising, Analytics, Project Managers and Tech Leads, etc.)
- Proactively identifies or clarifies issues with live projects and makes recommendations to resolve issues.
- Acts as an internal quality control check for all programs and projects to ensure they meet client requirements.
- Proactively solves day-to-day problems and exercises good judgment not only in solving problems, but also in determining when to escalate issues within the organization.
- Describes client requirements, collaborates in the development of deliverables, and supports the documentation and ongoing activities of client programs and projects.
o 4-6 years of experience in marketing program / project management, with an emphasis on digital marketing programs
o Bachelor's Degree preferred
o Client management experience
o Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and planning skills
o Able to translate technical requirements to marketing and non-technical partners
o Organized, extremely detail oriented and able to balance multiple priorities
o Possesses strong leadership skills
o Able to build strong, resilient relationships with clients and be viewed as a partner
o Experience managing project teams and leading creative direction
o Account management experience in an agency setting and/or experience working with agencies on the client side of the business is desirable
