Job Description:What We're Looking ForThe Director of Marketing and Communications will develop and implement strategies that extend the image and impact of Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. This position will have reporting responsibilities to the Robbins College Dean and Associate Deans, but has the authority to make decisions with moderate direction from supervisor(s).
A Bachelor's degree, five years of relevant experience and an active Christian faith are required.
Additional preferred skills: - Experience writing and editing a broad range of materials including brochures, newsletters, journals, web sites, and working with graphic designers, photographers, and printers in the production of high-quality print and electronic materials.
- Working knowledge of computer hardware and software used in print and email communications.
- Knowledge of data analytics in web management platforms.
- Ability to work with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
- Experience in contacting and working with media personnel (ex: reporters, newspapers, local TV/radio media, etc.).
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.What You Will Do - Partner with the University's Office of Marketing and Communications and GPE Marketing Director to develop and implement strategies that extend the image, identify and impact of Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences and the University.
- Research, plan and implement internal and external communication strategies in response to Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences priorities - faculty, staff, graduate and undergraduate recruiting, alumni development, stakeholder relations, Army Baylor constituents, faculty and student communications.
- Collaborate with development officers to plan and execute strategies that support the endowment and development objectives of the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences.
- Serve as writer and editor of Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences' external and internal publications, including the quarterly Community Connections newsletter, website, and social media.
- Serve as primary point of contact for selected web projects and implement electronic communication solutions. Oversee training and coaching of program and level liaisons in marketing development and systems utilizing college level Marketing Committee and staff partners.
- Provide support to dean in messaging and positioning of the Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences. Oversee writing, editing and production of all materials related to PR and coordinate and promote awareness of all Robbins College events.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Ability to comply with University policies.
