The Digital Marketing Coordinator (Admissions) is responsible for managing timely and integrated digital marketing that recruits undergraduate students and their families by managing the development of, and updating websites, emails, social media, videos, and publications for the Admission Department; utilizing Slate (CRM) to mine data and update records; and evaluating trends in the digital marketplace and updating marketing plan when appropriate.
Duties & Essential Job Functions:
1. Provides web design for Admissions, to include communications with departments for updates; manages updates across first-year, international, and transfer audiences; coordinates with TCU web team for web updates; works with vendors on web site development; researches images and videos to include in content. 2. Provides email coordination by managing email flow for first-year, transfer and international; coordinates with mailed brochures to executive timely emails on a weekly basis; directs email execution based on numbers, cycle-timing and supporting documents needed; executes decision emails for admission to TCU; utilizes high level skill and knowledge of HTML to create conditional logic messages; creates complex email-marketing campaigns based on message flow, website visits, and/or email opens; utilizes skill set for responsive email design; researches industry trends and technologies and merges skill of design with technical requirements of Slate; creates and runs queries for targeted audience, and adds interaction codes for data integrity; manages communication for TCU market research; follows Title IX and Campus Security requirements; coordinates with other departments for image research; follows-up on analytics and confirmation of delivery; utilizes analytics to optimize messaging timing and format. 3. Manages content, problems and updates on lobby touchscreens by working with IT to troubleshoot, working with the vendor on training, working with Marketing for social media API needs, and training Admission staff members for serve as back up. 4. Designs event pages and landing pages, assists with form set up, and manages communication based on event registrations and follows up on analytics to confirm delivery as scheduled; ties form fields to Slate filters for data integrity; creates forms that produce conditional logic messaging. 5. Manages social media intern and social media calendar for posts, topics and responds to DMs when appropriate. 6. Liaises with TCU Marketing and Communications to develop appropriate marketing and communication materials. 7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in communication, marketing, journalism or related field and 3 plus years’ experience in web development, experience with video editing software, designing ads and marketing material in an advertising, media relations, journalism, public relations or related environment. OR • Associate’s Degree in communication, marketing, journalism or related field and 5 plus years’ experience in web development, experience with video editing software, designing ads and marketing material in an advertising, media relations, journalism, public relations or related environment.
• Skill in the use of Adobe Creative Suite (PhotoShop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.) • Skill in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel. • Skill in the use of CRM – Slate, ESP, and HTML. • Skill in the use of conditional logic. • Skill in the use of WordPress. • Skill in time management. • Ability to create responsive design. • Ability to communicate with all levels of employees across campus. • Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing. • Ability to draft grammatically correct correspondence. • Ability to leverage technology to create efficiencies. • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines.

• Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information. • Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication. • Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions. • Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting. • Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.
Work Environment:
• Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours. • This role is an on-campus, in-person position. • There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job. • The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
