JOB SUMMARY
Marriott Digital Services (MDS) is seeking an experienced Reporting Manager to support analytic marketing strategies, tactics and visualizations that focus on the optimization of all MDS programs and products.
This role works closely with the Analytics Manager to execute the reporting strategy for all MDS platforms, products, and services. The Reporting Manager will predominantly work in the performance tracking tool to ensure proper data harmonization across multiple sources. He or she will be responsible for monitoring and reviewing monthly data stream updates for client-facing report deliverables. This individual will assist in building new reports and dashboards and oversee ongoing maintenance. The Reporting Manager will support reporting initiatives for paid media campaigns, by creating calculated dimensions and measurements to apply campaign attribution.
The Reporting Manager will field general reporting questions from MDS hotel clients. He or she will work cross functionally within the organization to troubleshoot data issues for internal MDS team members. The position reports to the Manager, MDS Analytics on the Business Support Team.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
- BS/BA degree in ecommerce, statistics, data analytics, computer science, mathematics, or related field.
- 3+ years of relevant data analytics work experience
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Reporting/Analytics Development & Maintenance
- Support reporting capabilities for Marriott Digital Services
- Develop custom databases, comprehensive, data-driven reports and scorecards to meet the program needs for MDS
- Support efforts to accurately track Marriott.com channel performance, keyword visibility and marketing campaign results
- Monitor monthly data stream updates to ensure reporting metrics are loaded in a timely and accurate manner
- Support and implement efficiencies for paid media platform reporting initiatives
- Investigate and resolve issues quickly to provide optimal, real time reporting to MDS clients
- Maintain and evolve reports to support business needs in the ever-changing digital environment
Technical Acumen
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Access, Tableau, Hadoop, SAS, etc.
- Proficiency with Excel macros, VBA, and creating advanced formulas and using query tools (pivot tables, Vlookup, etc.)
- Experience performing data mining, data validation and data modeling
- Basic proficiency of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development/programming technologies
- Experience with Salesforce strongly preferred
- Experience with Salesforce Datorama desirable
- SOQL (Salesforce Object Q Language)
Data Analysis
- Perform data analysis to support new projects and initiatives
- Analyze data to find gaps in systems and identify areas to implement quality assurance measures
- Investigate data abnormalities for internal MDS team members
- Respond to, solve, and makes decisions on more complex/non-routine business requests with limited supervision
- Ability to communicate complex findings and recommendations into plain language
Tools and Vendors
- Works collaboratively with vendors and partners to evolve the MDS reporting strategy
- Provides training and support on internal Marriott reporting systems and tools to other members of MDS
Additional Responsibilities
- Supports ongoing MDS thought leadership activities - webinars, training sessions blog posts, presentations, etc.
- Has the ability to take complex information and present it in a clear and concise manner to business partners
- Continual education and self-growth through reading industry blogs and social media, completing Salesforce certifications, attending industry conferences, seminars, analyzing research briefs, etc.
- Performs other reasonable duties, such as special projects, as assigned by manager
- Highly motivated with the ability to work easily in both large team environments and independently
