Merkle is seeking an Adobe Target Manager to lead the execution of web analytic strategies, analysis, and reporting for various clients, and be an integral part of the Optimization group at Merkle. Candidates are expected to use their passion for data/analytics and thought leadership to develop innovative ways of improving site tracking and performance.
Candidates must possess a thorough understanding of digital measurement principles ranging from statistical analysis methodologies to implementation strategies, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of the major web analytics solutions such as Adobe Analytics, or Google Analytics.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, team-oriented and skilled at solving problems and answering questions using data and analysis. The candidate will join a growing marketing strategy team and assist in expanding the search engine and interactive marketing activities for clients.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with clients and Customer Success Managers to capture requirements, get feedback on designs and present results
Support customer discovery sessions and help guide client's use cases, business requirements and key performance indicators, and assist as part of a team to deliver against those objectives
Provide measurable insights and recommendations to improve online business and marketing strategies. Help customers further understand and fully utilize product capabilities and the transformative power of digital marketing
Help advance the customer digital experience, by means of ground-breaking projects and thought leadership
Analyze marketing campaign attribution and provide recommendation for optimizing marketing spend
Build Optimization Test Plans using for A/B testing, multivariate testing, segment-based targeting, behavioral targeting and personalization
Collaborate and direct multi-functional teams internally and externally to optimally deliver a project end-to-end
Become an authority in the use of Adobe products and the methods by which they can be used to efficiently optimize online business.
Develop detailed dashboards to deliver standardized reporting for site and campaign performance across various business objectives
Develop web analytics reporting frameworks and templates, client deliverables and reports
Develop and document web analytics guidelines and standards for client projects across the company
Mentor junior analysts on the team to develop their skill and understanding of data, web analytics, and reporting
A minimum of 3-4 years of Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics, web analytics, data strategies and reporting experience
Experience working with customer and digital marketing data and segmentation opportunities, and various measurement and analysis techniques and technologies.
Experience with the major web analytics solutions (Adobe Analytics, IBM Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., spreadsheet formatting, pivot tables, graphs, etc.)
Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a passion for digging into data to identify key trends, results and critical outcomes
Strong ability to translate, communicate and distill statistics and metrics into a digestible, actionable framework
Excellent client management skills, strong written and verbal communications, executive level presence
Solid project management and organizational skills
Thorough understanding of online marketing and web analytics
Basic understanding of database management and APIs.
Preferred experience and expertise in Adobe Experience Cloud solutions but not required
Nice to have
Intermediate understanding of broader digital marketing channels, including email marketing, display media and social media marketing
Intermediate understanding of search engine marketing principles (natural and paid search)
Technical background for a deeper understanding of implementation, testing and debugging

The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $159,500.00. Salary is based on a wide range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
