We are looking for a Manager - Product Marketing to join the RiverSource Insurance Marketing team! In this role the Product Marketing Manager will plan and implement marketing programs or projects that support company objectives. The job manages the overall planning, crafting and production of product marketing sales ideas and training materials to implement product strategies. You will also write, develop and coordinate the distribution of materials to the appropriate channel/media.
This position is based in Minneapolis, MN.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic marketing plans, programs or initiatives to introduce new products and services as well as increase awareness of current business driven product initiatives. Coordinate with business partners in distributing to the appropriate channels/media.
• Work with key business partners throughout the organization to develop strategic messaging as well as an understanding of the organizational needs. Maintain awareness of key corporate messaging across the organization to facilitate consistent messaging.
• Drive measurable program results. Track program participation and results and provide recommendations for improvements, execute approved recommendations quickly. Reports and tracks budget.
• Responsible for competitor analysis; generation of sales ideas and the development, training development delivery of marketing programs to the end users.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of marketing experience.
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand language.
• Ability to think strategically, coach and influence people at all levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial Services experience preferred.
• Insurance experience preferred.
